La miniaturisation des MOSFETs a t le carburant de l'industrie semi-conducteur pour quelque dizaine d'annes.L'industrie continuera, probablement, son dveloppement l'avenir en crant de nouveaux concepts et technologies. long terme, pour arriver une miniaturisation extrme en comparaison avec l'tat de l'art, de nouveaux concepts de transistors sont prvus pour remplacer les MOSFETs conventionnelles.Mme dans la prochaine dcennie, des corrections dans la modlisation et conception des MOSFETs sont prvues.Au mme temps que la miniaturisation arrive aux barrires physiques, de nouveaux phnomnes voient le jour.L'un de ces phnomnes est le transport balistique.Le transport balistique et les autres phnomnes relis physique quantique, qui devienne dominant quand les tailles de composant atteignent un certain niveau, ont besoin d'algorithmes de calcul trs lourds pour tre modliss avec prcision.L'utilisation des techniques de calcul haute performance (HPC) est une solution prometteuse pour le problme de modlisation et conception de MOSFETs du futur.Dans ce travail, un outil de modlisation cr par les chercheurs l'universit de Perdue est employ comme un algorithme qui modlise de nouveaux effets de transport quantique dans les MOSFETs double grille.Cet algorithme est paralllis avec MA TLAB et excut sur une infrastructure HPC de consortium CLUMEQ, sous la plate-forme Calcul Canada.
