Abstract
RESUMEN: El presente trabajo es el caso clínico de un labrador de un año y medio de edad, que mostraba la siguiente sintomatología : vómito, diarrea, pérdida de peso, pelo hirsuto y decaimiento. Previamente a la consulta ya había sido tratado en otro centro veterinario, el cual realizo pruebas diagnósticas como: hemograma y bilirrubinas total y directa cuyo resultado arrojó que se encontraban levemente aumentadas. Ante la persistencia de los síntomas y la poca evolución del canino se realizaron nuevamente ayudas diagnósticas como: hemograa, FA, lipasa especifica pancreatica canina, amilasa y ecografía abdominal, las cuales evidenciaron el hígado y el páncreas inflamados, al igual que los valores aumentados en amilasa y lipasa. Posterior a la estabilización del paciente con tratamientos inyectados y orales, dieta con alimentación en grano I/D, seguimiento con pruebas diagnósticas como: lipasa específica pancreática canina y amilasa durante dos meses y exclusión de otros posibles diagnósticos, se concluyo que el paciente padecía pancreatitis.
