Abstract
In order to determine the work factors associated with the grade of Burnout \nSyndrome in medical representatives of the Province of Trujillo 2013, they \nconducted a prospective, descriptive and cross-sectional study in which a \nsample of 99 medical representatives were studied. Each had to answer a \nquestionnaire containing data on occupational factors such as the scale of \nMaslach "Maslach Burnout Inventory". For statistical analysis the chi-square \ntest was used, setting the significance level at P <0.05. It was found that the \ncharacteristics of the medical representatives of the Province of Trujillo were \naged between 35 and 39 years (27.3%), female (60.6%) sex and work over \nnine years (46.5%). The degree of burnout syndrome among physicians \nvisitors was: half (58.6%), high (12.1%) and low (29.3%). The proportion of \noccupational factors among physicians visitors with burnout syndrome was \nhigh: 50% worked more than nine years, 83.3% were engaged in promoting \ntrade, 83.3% had received more than two annual trainings, promoted 83.3% \nover seven more products, 58.3% visited between quarter past nine doctors \nand 66.7% performed trips. Among those visited with half Burnout syndrome \nwere: 44.8% worked more than nine years, 79.3% promote and sell products, \n72.4% received more than two annual training, 79.4% promoted seven more \nproducts, 55.2% visit between quarter past nine doctors and 84.5% on tours. \nAnd in those with Burnout low syndrome was: 48.3% worked more than nine \nyears, 79.3% promoted and sold, having received 65.5% of two or more \ntraining, 65.5% promoted seven more products, visit the 48.3% nine and \nperforming medical fifteen 93.1% travel. Concluding that: occupational \nfactors: number of products that promote non-performing and associated \ntravel to the high degree of burnout syndrome in medical sales.
