KUMAŞ VE GİYİMİN GİZLİ DİLİ

\nBu çalışma, giysi ve kumaşların sözsüz bir iletişim türü olarak değerlendirerek, bireylerin kendilerine özgü farklı fonksiyonel giyinme eğilimleri doğrultusunda oluştur-dukları görünümleri anlatmayı amaçlamaktadır. Giysi ve kumaşların bu anlamda bir dil olarak iletişim kurma yöntemlerini, nasıl ve neler aracılığı ile konuştuğu, dışarıya yansıtılan görüntülerin ifade gücünü sembolik değerler çerçevesinde anlatmayı ve açıklamayı amaçlamaktadır. Tematik yaklaşım çerçevesinde incelenen tekstiller genel kavramını Batı(Avrupa kültürü Antik çağ ) ,Doğu ( Osmanlı-Anadolu, uzak doğu-yakın doğu) kültürleri üzerinden örnekleyerek, tekstillerdeki farklı mesajları kültürel ve tari-hsel olarak aktarmak için kullanılan form, biçim ve sembol ve renk, unsurları an-latılmıştır. Bu anlamda tema olarak belirlenen giysi ve kumaşlar konusu, kültürler arası ilettikleri çeşitli sembolik anlamlar aracılığı ile biribiri ile ilişkilendirilmiştir. 
\n Seçilen tarihsel dönemler içerisinde incelenen giysilerin sembolik anlam-larına, kadın giyim görüntüleri temel alınarak değinilmiştir. Dönemlerin geçirmiş oldu-ğu değişimler doğrultusunda, şekillenen giyinme alışkanlıklarını ve bu alışkanlıklar so-nucunda kazanılmış olan sözsüz sosyal ve kültürel görsel kodlarına değinerek, doğru-dan dışarıya mesaj iletme ihtiyacının nedenlerini görsel örnekler eşliğinde anlatma amacını taşımaktadır. Tekstiller başlığı altında giysi ve kumaş kavramları insanlığın gelişim süreci etkisi ile bazı bölümlerde beraber değerlendirilmiş temel fonksiyon ve ifade farklılıkları sebebi ile bazı bölümlerde ayrıca kategorize edilerek incelenmiştir.
\nDört bölüm şeklinde hazırlanan bu çalışmanın ilk bölümde, giysi ve giyinmek kavramların ne oldukları ve insan ile olan ilişkisi sayesinde ilk dönemlerden bu yana kavramsal, sosyolojik ve kültürel faktörlerin eşliğinde, bilgiler verilmektedir. 
\nİkinci bölümde, tekstil kavramı hakkında genel bilgiler vererek, Doğu -Batı ek-seninde; kumaşların kültürel anlamlarını, kumaş motif ve desenlerin sembolik anlam-larını, süsleme ve nakışların ifadelerini, renk kavramı ve sembolik kod olarak sosyolojik ve psikolojik anlamda nasıl kullanıldıklarını ve ne mesajlar verdiklerini görsel tarihsel süreç içerisinde görsel örnekler eşliğinde açıklanmıştır. 
\nÜçüncü bölümde, giysilerin sembolik ifade aracı olarak nasıl kullanıldıklarını Doğu- Batı ekseninde ve çağın estetik anlayışına uygun kullanımlarını ve anlamlarını, 21.yy'ı kapsayan zaman diliminde ifadelerinin değişimini, yaşam tarzı ifadesi olması, meslek ifadesi olması ve inanç ifadesi ve yaşam felsefesi ifadelerine değinerek, örnekler eşliğinde anlatılmıştır. 
\nBu çalışmanın sonuç kısmında ise, 21.yy'daki değişmelerin giysi sembolizmi-nizdeki değişimine, günümüz bakış açısı üzerinden görsel örnekler eşliğinde yorumlana-rak, bundan sonrası için gelecek projeksiyonuna temel oluşturabilecek derlenmiş bir çalışma bırakmayı hedeflemektedir.

\nSECRET LANGUAGE OF FABRIC AND CLOTHİNG

\nThis study aims to evaluate clothes and fabrics as a nonverbal type of commu-nication and to explain the views that individuals create in line with their distinctive functional dressing tendencies. It aims to explain the methods of communication of clot-hes and fabrics as a language in this sense, how and what they speak through, the expressive power of the images projected outwards within the framework of symbolic values. In the framework of thematic approach ,the general concept of Textiles exami-ned in Western (European culture, Ancient Civilazations), Eastern ( Ottoman-Anatolia, Far East-Near East) cultures over the sample, textiles used to transfer the different mes-sages culturally and historically form, form and symbol and color, elements are explai-ned. In this sense, the theme of clothes and fabrics, identified as a theme, has been asso-ciated with one another through the various symbolic meanings they convey across cul-tures. The symbolic meanings of the garments studied during the selected historical pe-riods are mentioned on the basis of women's clothing images. It is aimed to explain the reasons of the need to transmit messages from the east to the outside with visual examp-les by referring to the dressing habits that are shaped in line with the changes that have been experienced during the periods, and the nonverbal social and cultural visual codes acquired as a result of these habits. Under the title of textiles, the concepts of clothing and fabrics have been evaluated together in some sections with the effect of the deve-lopment process of humanity and in some sections with the main function and expres-sion differences due to the categorization of some sections. 
\nIn the first part of this study, which is prepared in four chapters, information about the concepts of clothing and dressing and its relationship with human beings have been given since the early periods, accompanied by conceptual, sociological and cultu-ral factors.
\nIn the second part, by giving general information about the concept of textile, East-West axis; cultural meanings of fabrics, symbolic meanings of fabric motifs and patterns, expressions of embellishment and embroidery, how they are used in sociologi-cal and psychological sense as color concept and symbolic code and what messages they give are explained with visual examples in visual historical process.
\nIn the third part, how the garments are used as symbolic expression tools in the East-West axis and their usage and meanings in accordance with the aesthetic unders-tanding of the age, the change of their expressions in the time span covering the 21st century, being a lifestyle expression, being a professional expression and belief expres-sion and life philosophy expressions. With reference to the examples.
\nIn the conclusion part of this study, it is aimed to leave a compiled study that can be used as a basis for the future projection by interpreting the changes in the sym-bolism of clothes in the 21st century with visual examples from today's perspective.
