La traducción jurídica: la traducción de Canada´s system of justice

Abstract
En la actualidad, las familias jurídicas más relevantes del mundo occidental son el derecho anglosajón y el derecho continental. Entre los países que se rigen por el derecho anglosajón se encuentra Canadá, país que será objeto de estudio en el presente Trabajo de Fin de Grado (TFG). En primer lugar, abordaremos los aspectos teóricos más relevantes relacionados con la traducción general y la especializada para, más adelante, profundizar en el concepto de traducción jurídica y el lenguaje jurídico tanto inglés como español. Asimismo, describiremos brevemente los sistemas jurídicos de Canadá y España. A continuación, presentaremos la traducción de un documento oficial titulado Canada’s System of Justice que fue publicado por el Departamento de Justicia de Canadá. Posteriormente, se llevará a cabo un análisis terminológico contrastivo aplicado al sistema jurídico canadiense y español. Por último, se presentarán las conclusiones obtenidas del trabajo.
