Abstract
Ce document est le fruit d’une recherche universitaire, subventionnée par le Fonds derecherche du Québec — Société et culture, sous la direction de la professeure Anne-Marie Corriveau de l’École de gestion de l’Université de Sherbrooke. Ce projets’intéressait initialement aux relations qu’entretiennent les entreprises québécoisescertifiées B Corp et aux pratiques et stratégies qui leur permettent d’entretenir desrelations durables avec elles au fil du temps. Au fil de l’étude, il a été constaté que lesentreprises sondées vivaient une sorte de goulot d’étranglement lorsque venait letemps de renouveler leur certification, un phénomène qui était déjà connu de B Lab etd’autres observateurs de ce mouvement. L’accent qui semble être mis sur les étapes duprocessus de recertification risquerait de faire perdre de vue les objectifs initiauxpoursuivis par la démarche. Dès lors, l’amélioration continue est devenue un nouveausujet d’intérêt de cette recherche. Les résultats obtenus offrent un éclairage différentsur les défis qui attendent B Lab et les entreprises qui souhaitent améliorer leur impactsocial et environnement sur le long terme, d’où l’idée de ce document synthèse.
