La pandémie de COVID-19 ayant exacerbé les limites de nos systèmes et les fragilités de certains
\npans de la population, différentes mesures de soutien ont été déployées. Dans le domaine de
\nl’éducation, le tutorat a ainsi été vu comme un moyen de soutenir les élèves en difficultés dans ce
\ncontexte sanitaire particulier. Plusieurs pays ont en effet financé, de manière plus ou moins
\nimportante, le développement d’activités tutorales dans l’enseignement primaire et secondaire
\nnotamment. L’exploration que nous sommes en train d’en faire concernant le Québec fait ressortir
\nque, loin d’une définition et d’un pratique unifiée, le tutorat est mis en œuvre de façon différente
\nd’un endroit à l’autre, en fonction des dispositifs de soutien préexistant. Toutefois, au-delà de ces
\ndifférences, les retombées positives du tutorat et le fait qu’il ait été mis en place à grande échelle
\ndans plusieurs États, peuvent laisser à penser que ce type d’accompagnement, connu de longue date,
\ndevrait perdurer au-delà de la crise actuelle.
