Abstract
Este trabajo tiene como objetivo analizar la presencia de sexismo en dibujos animados infantiles y su impacto en la socialización de los niños y niñas españolas en la etapa de educación infantil. Para ello, se ha llevado a cabo una revisión bibliográfica sobre el tema y se ha realizado un análisis de cinco series infantiles desde el año 1980 hasta ahora, para comprobar su evolución y determinar si ha habido algún cambio respecto a la presencia del sexismo a lo largo del tiempo. Para tal fin, se emplea una metodología cualitativa de investigación. En concreto se aplica un instrumento de evaluación, que permite medir la frecuencia con la que se presentan diversos estereotipos de género en las series analizadas. Los resultados muestran una mejora significativa en la representación del género femenino en las series infantiles a lo largo del tiempo, aunque aún se observan indicios de actitudes y comportamientos sexistas en algunas producciones actuales, tales actitudes se han ido reduciendo con el paso del tiempo
