14,5 X 22,5.Estamos ante un libro de carácter biográfico que no llega a ser propiamente una biografía.El autor es profesor de Historia en Carleton University (Ottawa) y' un buen conocedor de la escena eclesiástica irlandesa en el siglo XIX, tema sobre el que ha publicado varios libros.. Ha sido un gran acierto ocuparse de Cullen (1803-78), estudiado ya anteriormente por Peadar Mac Suibhne (Paul Cullen and his Contemporaries, 5 vols.1961-77 : cfr.Scripta Theologica 8 [1976] 727) y E. R.
