Abstract
RÉSUMÉ: Ce mémoire est une enquête exploratoire sur les compétences des gestionnaires de projets dans les organisations internationales et humanitaires en Haïti. Nous nous sommes penchés essentiellement sur les organisations canadiennes. En fait, tous les gestionnaires de projets humanitaires se doivent d'acquérir ou de développer des compétences pour la réussite des projets. Généralement, on catégorise les compétences. D'un côté, il y a les compétences techniques qui sont les connaissances de gestion qui vont de la maitrise des logiciels à la connaissance technique du projet. De l'autre côté, on trouve les compétences sociales ou interpersonnelles qui renvoient à des traits de personnalité. Dans cette catégorie on retrouve le leadership, l'écoute active, la sensibilité culturelle et politique, l'intelligence émotionnelle, etc. Le but de cette recherche est de déterminer laquelle des deux catégories est la plus importante pour les organisations non gouvernementales canadiennes qui interviennent en Haïti. Pour ce faire, nous avons réalisé des entrevues semi-directives avec des responsables de ressources humaines d'un groupe d'organisations basées au Québec et en Ontario. Nous sommes arrivés à la conclusion que les organisations accordent une importance plus accentuée aux compétences sociales. -- Mot(s) clé(s) en français : Mots clés : Compétences, gestionnaires, projet, organisation, humanitaires, Canada, Haïti. -- ABSTRACT: This research is an axploratory study on the skills of project managers in international and humnaitarian organisazations in Haiti. We mainly looked at canadian organizations. In fact, all managers of humanitarian projets must learn or develop skliss for the success of projects. Usually, those skliss are categorized in two groups. The first group includes the technical skills which are the management knowledge which goes from the mastery of softwares to the knowledge of the technical aspect of the projects. In the second group, there are the social skilss which refer to personality traits. In this category, we find leadership, active listening, cultural and political sensibility etc. To do this, we conducted semi-structured interviews with human ressources managers from a group of organizations based in Quebec and Ontario.
