Abstract
Opinnäytetyön toimeksiantajana toimi Kokkolan hotelli Seurahuone ja työelämäohjaajana hotellinjohtaja Anne Katajalaakso. Nykyisin Finlandia Hotels -ketjuun kuuluva hotelli Seurahuone on perustettu vuonna 1898. Seurahuone on yksi Suomen vanhimmista edelleen toimivista hotelleista, joka tarjoaa tasokasta majoitusta kaupungin keskustassa. Hotelli tarjoaa asiakkailleen nykyaikaisten kokouspalveluiden ja erilaisten ravintoloiden lisäksi mahdollisuuden tilaussaunaan. \n \nTyön aiheena oli suunnitella hotellille käyttökelpoiset majoituspaketit. Työn tarkoituksena oli muokata hotellin jo olemassa olevia tuotepaketteja sekä mahdollisesti tuottaa hotellille joitain kokonaan uusia paketteja. Työn tavoitteena oli luoda Hotelli Seurahuoneelle päivitetyt, uudet ja kiinnostavat majoituspakettikokonaisuudet, jotka herättävät asiakkaiden mielenkiinnon. \n \nOpinnäytetyö oli toiminnallinen työ, jossa käytettiin kahta eri tutkimusmenetelmää mahdollisimman monipuolisten tutkimustulosten saamiseksi. Kvalitatiivisessa osuudessa haastateltiin hotellin nykyisiä ja mahdollisia uusia yhteistyökumppaneita. Kvantitatiivisessa osuudessa suoritettiin asiakastyytyväisyyskysely hotellin asiakkaille. Työn teoriaosuudessa käsitellään työn tutkimusmenetelmien lisäksi muun muassa Suomen majoitustoimintaa, hotelli Seurahuonetta ja sen historiaa sekä tuotepakettien suunnittelua ja kokoamista. \n \nTuloksena oli kattavat majoituspakettikokonaisuudet, joiden aktiviteetit ja palvelut painottuivat liikunnallisiin aktiviteetteihin ja hyvinvointipalveluihin. Pakettikokonaisuudet on koottu tutkimustulosten perusteella.
