Abstract
Negli ultimi anni, è in corso una riconsiderazione dei fondamenti teorici con cui è stata definita la narrativa breve, col passaggio da un approccio narratologico classico a uno pragmatico, basato sull’individuazione delle dinamiche comunicative di questa forma testuale. La mia analisi mira a definire tali dinamiche, prendendo in considerazione tre aspetti fondamentali dell'interazione tra il testo e il contesto in cui esso viene prodotto e recepito. Il primo versante è per l'appunto quello della produzione: infatti, le scelte editoriali e le caratteristiche degli spazi mediali in cui un racconto è pubblicato ne influenzano la morfologia e, di conseguenza, l'estetica. La seconda area di interesse è invece più specificamente testuale e si riferisce all'individuazione e alla spiegazione dei processi di semantizzazione che si attivano con la collocazione di un racconto all'interno di un politesto (rivista, raccolta d'autore, antologia...). Infine, la terza riguarda le dinamiche di ricezione e si basa sull'idea del racconto come discorso di ri-uso.
