Abstract
Linguatech, el Grup de Recerca en Comunicació Científica i Tecnològica Multilingüe, ha sorgit de manera natural en resposta a les necessitats de la comunitat universitària relacionades amb la impartició d’assignatures en llengua estrangera. En aquest report expliquem el seu desenvolupament des de l’origen, cap allà al 2008, quan es preparava la implantació dels nous graus a l’Escola Politècnica Superior d’Enginyeria de Manresa i l’Institut de Ciències de l’Educació (ICE) de la UPC oferia cursos d’anglès al professorat. Descriurem com els projectes s’han entrellaçat de manera natural amb l’anàlisi de dades del seu entorn; així, s’han dissenyat enquestes i qüestionaris per analitzar el punt de partida d’estudiantat i professorat, i per contrastar les dificultats sospitades. L’objectiu principal del grup consisteix en elaborar material interdisciplinari de suport per a pal·liar les dificultats detectades, com per exemple els aplicatius en línia d’accés obert Class-Talk i Multilingual Formulae, que es presenten en detall en altres comunicacions. Cal remarcar el seu caràcter interdisciplinari, que permet optimitzar recursos i afavoreix el treball en equip de professorat, actualment, de 6 departaments diferents.
