Abstract
/ Ce rapport est un exercice de mise en tension et de discussion réalisé à la suite d'un séjour au Québec à l'automne 2003. L'objectif était ainsi d'analysé les modalités de concrétisation socio-spatiales de la demande d'ouverture des espaces ruraux Québécois au nom notamment d'un intérêt paysager afin de les mettre en perspective avec la grille de lecture que nous avions construit dans un contexte différent, en l'occurrence français. Dans une première lecture théorique, nous nous sommes d'abord attaché à relever les différents facteurs historiques (mode d'implantation des exploitations agricoles, monopole du syndicat agricole UPA), politiques (organisation des institutions, du maillage territorial) et sociaux-culturels (rapport à la nature, à la tradition, au territoire) pouvant, entre autres, expliquer l'existence d'un décalage entre ces deux pays dans la résonance à une demande sociale commune. Ensuite, à partir de différents projets étudiés au Ministère de l'Agriculture, des pêcheries et de l'Alimentation du Québec (MAPAQ) et notamment la question du moratoire sur la production porcine, nous avons cherché à discuter les implications en terme de normes paysagères de cet «effet de lieu ».
