Abstract
Suomessa hukkuu vuosittain noin 150-200 ihmistä. Suomen Uimaopetus- ja Hengenpelastusliiton tärkein tehtävä on edistää koulutusten kautta vesiturvallisuus osaamista, jotta luvut eivät kasvaisi tulevaisuudessa. Opinnäytetyö oli tilaustyö Suomen Uimaopetus- ja Hengenpelastusliitolle. Opinnäytetyön tavoitteena oli toiminnallinen tutkimus, jonka tuloksena oli luoda kehittämissuunnitelma Suomen Uimaopetus- ja Hengenpelastusliiton kouluttajakoulutukselle. Kouluttajakoulutuksen kehittämissuunnitelman tavoitteena on antaa raamit kouluttajakoulutukseen ja mahdollistaa koulutuskokonaisuuden tarkempi suunnittelu. Kouluttajakoulutuksen tulee antaa koulutettaville tietoa, kuinka SUH:n kouluttajana toimitaan sekä työkaluja itse kouluttamiseen. SUH haluaa kouluttajakoulutuksen avulla mahdollistaa uusille kouluttajille riittävät tiedot ja taidot laadukkaan ja turvallisen koulutuksen järjestämiseen sekä antaa tuleville kouluttajille kuvan koulutusten kokonaisuuksista ja ideoita ja konkreettisia työkaluja koulutuksen toteuttamiseen. Opinnäytetyössä on käytetty kehittämistutkimuksen työtapoja, kyselyä, havainnointia ja osallistamista. Tutkimuksen aikana on tehty kaksi kyselyä Suomen Uimaopetus- ja Hengenpelastusliiton nykyisille kouluttajille sekä osallistettu Suomen Uimaopetus- ja Hengenpelastusliiton koulutustiimiä. Opinnäytetyön teoriaosuudessa käydään läpi opettamisen ja oppimisen periaatteita, erilaisia oppimiskäsityksiä sekä kouluttajana toimimista. Tuloksissa esitellään kyselyiden tulokset sekä lopulta opinnäytetyön tuloksena syntynyt Suomen Uimaopetus- ja Hengenpelastusliiton kouluttajakoulutuksen kehittämissuunnitelma ja sisältö.
