Abstract
Opinnäytetyössä perehdyttiin vedyn ominaisuuksiin, vihreän vedyn ja jatkojalosteiden tuotantoon, käyttöön ja näiden markkinoihin, sekä niiden roolia ilmastonmuutoksen torjunnassa. Työssä esiteltiin vedyn siirto- ja varastointiratkaisuja, sekä vedyn sovelluskohteita eri sektoreilla. Lisäksi työssä kuvattiin Suomen vetystrategia ja sen tavoitteet, tuuli- ja aurinkosähkön tuotantoa ja sähkömarkkinoita, sekä analysoitiin Suomen vetytalouden mahdollisuuksia ja haasteita. \n \nTyössä käytettiin kirjallisuuskatsausta menetelmänä ja hyödynnettiin erilaisia lähteitä, kuten tutkimusraportteja, artikkeleita, tilastoja ja verkkosivuja. Lisäksi opinnäytetyön tukena oli Turku AMK:n ja VAMK:in järjestämä Vedyntuotanto ja vetytalouden arvoketjut koulutus. Työn tarkoituksena oli kerätä tietoa Suomen vetytaloudesta, sen tulevaisuuden näkymistä ja koostaa kattava tietopaketti. \n \nOpinnäytetyön tuloksena saatiin luotua tiivis kirjallinen selvitys vetytalouden mahdollisuuksista Suomelle ja mahdollisista esteistä. Suunniteltujen tavoitteiden toteutuessa, Suomi tulee hyötymään vetytalouden tuomista eduista, jos sähkön markkinahinta saadaan pidettyä kilpailukykyisenä.
