Abstract
Las alteraciones cognitivas en el Lupus Eritematoso Generalizado son un conjunto de alteraciones estrechamente relacionadas con la actividad de la enfermedad. El presente estudio tiene como objetivo conocer si existen alteraciones cognitivas en pacientes con Lupus Eritematoso Generalizado, los factores asociados y evidenciar la relación con la actividad de la enfermedad. Se estudió una total de 47 pacientes. Se aplicó a la muestra instrumentos de evaluación cognitiva como Evaluación Cognitiva de Montreal (MoCA) y Evaluación Mínima del estado mental (Mini mental), además se evaluó el índice de actividad de Lupus Eritematoso Generalizado con la escala SLEDAI-2k. Se demostró que la población estudiada en su mayoría es de sexo femenino y con predominio en la segunda década de la vida. Se encontró deterioro cognitivo en 61.7 % de pacientes, siendo la memoria, la atención y el cálculo los elementos afectado. Los trastornos cognitivos se presentaron en pacientes con mayor actividad lúpica y se evidenció que los pacientes con más de 10 años de evolución de la enfermedad presentan más deterioro cognitivo. \nPalabras Claves: lupus eritematoso sistémico, deterioro cognitivo, Lupus neuropsiquiátrico, SLIDAI, SLICC
