Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

This essay presents a synthesis of the diverse phenomena experienced by Argentine society between the time of the first Centenary, in 1910, and that of the present, nearing the second Bicentenary. In 1910, there were great expectations (s added to expectation) that the country would become an outstandingly modern Nation. However, those hopes proved wrong, due, among other things, to the absence of the rule of law during large cycles of time. Nonetheless, and in spite of the contradictions, there were many successful efforts to establish public primary schools, a singular reception of masses of immigrants, a fast demographic transformation, cultural and scientific development, welfare state, and changes in civil rights that have taken place during the last quarter of the twentieth century.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
