Onun bu yeni ilim alanında edinmiş olduğu müstesna konum, batılı ilim adamlarının kendisi hakkında söyledikleri; “Türklerin en büyük bibliyografya âlimi” şeklindeki ifadelerinden anlaşılmaktadır.\nKeywords\t\t\t\t\t: Bursali Mehmet Tahir, Biography\nABSTRACT\nBURSALI MEHMET TAHIR AND HIS WORKS ABOUT HISTORY\nScientific developments take shape by benefiting from the older works and ideas put forth previously. However in today, a disability in benefiting from the works written especially in the period up to the first quarter of twentieth century is a matter of fact. Most of the researchers have difficulties in benefiting from these works as a result of the Alphabet Revolution occurred in 1928. Therefore the characters who had left their marks on the era and the intellectual structure of the period are not known well and not appreciated as they deserved. In this study, the subject is the life and works of bibliography of Bursali Mehmet Tahir Bey (Death: 1925), one of the well known subjects of the period. Bursali Mehmet Tahir Bey’s works on bibliography, a science which has reached a significant place in west while it was still not known in Turkey in that period, have created the privileged features of him. His special status in this new science can be clearly understood by these words said by the western scientists about him: “The greatest bibliography scientist of Turks”.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
