Cette recherche porte sur l’innovation sociale au sein d’une campagne de verdissement montréalaise. L’intérêt pour l’innovation sociale et sa reconnaissance par le gouvernement québécois, notamment à travers la récente création du Barème de l’innovation en fait un sujet d’actualité. Le milieu académique s’intéresse depuis longtemps à l’innovation sociale et reconnait sa capacité créatrice, en ce sens qu’elle permet de répondre et de trouver des solutions à certains enjeux inconnus de l’innovation technologique. La campagne de verdissement ILEAU, offre à travers son succès, des clés de lecture pour mieux comprendre la relation individu-environnement ainsi que les mécanismes de participation et de mobilisation citoyenne. La participation des citoyen.enne.s dans l’élaboration de leur ville favorise un sentiment d’appropriation et d’attachement que l’on définira comme un sentiment de chez-soi. Notre recherche encourage à revoir la façon de penser la ville, le public et le privé, mais surtout le chez-soi. Plus précisément nous cherchons à comprendre comment l’innovation sociale au sein d’une campagne de verdissement peut favoriser une appropriation et mobilisation citoyenne pouvant ainsi mener à un sentiment de chez-soi. La particularité de cette recherche réside dans les avantages induits, autant sur les individus que sur l’environnement, d’un sentiment de chez-soi qui dépasse le domicile. Afin d’arriver à recueillir des données sur le sentiment de chez-soi nous avons utilisé les outils classiques que sont le questionnaire et l’entrevue, mais nous avons également utilisé la carte mentale, puisque capable de dégager des données sur le perçu et le vécu. _____________________________________________________________________________ MOTS-CLÉS DE L’AUTEUR : Montréal, ILEAU, mobilisation et appropriation citoyenne, sentiment de chez-soi, verdissement.
