Abstract
From Ricochet Media and Planete F, this is the second episode of 'Fil Rouge', a bi-weekly series of podcasts focusing on the families, histories and traditions of eight First Nations and Inuit communities across Quebec. Subscribe on iTunes and look for it on Ricochet through summer 2018. On this episode: Kangirsuk, an Inuit community in Nunavik in Quebec's far north, is home to Harriet Keleutaq. Uprooted from her family at age 12, she was sent to Montreal to learn french and to continue her education. Today, she fights to re-learn her own language, Inuktitut, and to teach it to her children. This conversation was recorded in early 2018.
