Un reto ineludible "Lo que ustedes hacen, me hace llorar por las noches"Severn SuzukiEn la Cumbre de la Tierra celebrada en Ro de Janeiro en 1992 se recuerda el discurso de Severn Susuki.En ese entonces una nia de 13 aos quien viaj desde Vancouver para compartir con los participantes de esta conferencia sus profundas preocupaciones como nia y habitante del planeta sobre la gravedad del riesgo de supervivencia del planeta y la poca capacidad de quienes asistieron a la conferencia para impactar de verdad la crisis ambiental.Dijo Severn: "Aun soy una nia y s que todos estamos juntos en esto y debemos actuar como un nico mundo tras un nico objetivo.Aunque estoy enfadada no estoy ciega y aunque tengo miedo, no me asusta decirle al mundo como me siento.En mi pas derrochamos tanto; compramos y desechamos, compramos y desechamos; y aun as, los pases del norte no comparten con los necesitados.Incluso, teniendo mi pas ms que suficiente, tenemos miedo de perder nuestras riquezas si las compartimos."Esta remembranza adquiere gran actualidad cuando presenciamos la suscripcin del Acuerdo de Pars sobre cambio Climtico-
