Tämän päiväkirjamallisen opinnäytetyön ensisijaisena tavoitteena on ollut oma ammatillinen kasvamiseni Lasten Liike koordinaattorin työssä Suomen Olympiakomiteassa. Kasvulle ei ollut rajattu tarkkoja tavoitteita, vaan kasvu on tapahtunut päivittäisten eteen tulleiden työtehtävien kautta. Päiväkirjatekstit ovat rakentuneet omien kokemusteni, työtehtävieni, parhaimmaksi koettujen käytäntöjen ja mallien pohjalta, jotka ovat nidottu yhteen aiheen kirjallisuuden kanssa. Jokaisen päiväkirjatekstin jälkeen on reflektointi osuus, missä pyrin kuvaamaan työjakson aikana syntynyttä ammatillista kehittymistäni. Teksteissäni käsittelen koordinaattorin työn kannalta tärkeitä asioita, kuten itsensä johtamista, tuotteistamista, lasten ja nuorten terveyden edistäminen sekä nykypäivän organisaatiossa työskentely. Tässä työssä olen päässyt tekemään juuri niitä asioita, joihin liikunnan ja vapaa-ajan koulutusohjelma on minua valmistanut. Olen päässyt kokemaan ja katsomaan Suomen liikunnan ja urheilun todellista vaikutustyötä parhaalta näköalapaikalta. Tältä näköalapaikalta työtä tehdessäni havaitsen ammatillisen osaamiseni kehittyneen monin tavoin jokaisen käsittelemäni teeman alueella. Johtopäätöksenä työlleni voin todeta koordinaattorin työn olevan hyvin monipuolista työtä, ja se vaatii hyviä organisointi- ja sopeutumistaitoja. Liikunnan ja vapaa-ajan koulutusohjelma antaa työlle hyvän tietopohjan, josta ponnistaa. Koen tämän työn antaneen minulle paljon eväitä myös tulevia työtehtäviäni varten. Itsensä johtamisen taidot, tuotteistamien, organisaatiotyöskentely ja verkostoituminen ovat kaikki enemmän ja enemmän läsnä tulevaisuuden työtehtävissä. Tämä työ on opettanut minulle, kuinka tärkeää lasten liikunnan edistäminen on ja, tulevaisuudessa olen todella innokas työskentelemään vielä lisää lasten liikunnan parissa.
