Abstract
Opinnäytetyön toimeksiantona oli eteläsuomalaisen tilalähteen veden myyntimahdollisuuksien tutkiminen. Työn toimeksiantaja on lähteen omistava viljelijä. Aihe rajattiin koskevien säädösten, määräysten ja ohjeiden sekä lähdeveden laatutekijöiden selvittämiseen, yleiseen selvitykseen lähdeveden myynnistä Suomessa ja tutkittavan lähteen veden tuoton selvittämiseen. \n \nOpinnäytetyö suoritettiin tiedonhaulla lainsäädännöstä, tutkimalla lähdevesialan yrityksiä ja mittaamalla lähteen tuotto. Lakeihin ja asetuksiin ensisijaisena lähteenä käytettiin Vesilakia 587/2011. Lähdevesiyritysten tutkimiseen käytettiin niiden omia kotisivuja ja niistä saatavia taloustietoja hankittiin Suomen Asiakastiedolta sekä Fonecta Finderista. Lähteen tuotto selvitettiin itse koepumppauksella. \n \nLainsäädännön selvityksen perusteella on tutkitun lähteen hyödyntäminen mahdollista. Muita lähdevesiyrityksiä tutkimalla selvisi alan olevan erittäin kilpailtu ja haastava uusille yrittäjille. Koepumppaus tehtiin syyskuussa 2014 ja tuloksena saatiin lähteen tuotoksi 610 m3 vuorokaudessa. Lähteestä oli aikaisemmin tehty mittauksia 1960-luvulla, jolloin kesällä tuotto oli 1 000 m3 ja talvella 400 m3 vuorokaudessa. Tulos osoitti, että lähteen tuotto riittäisi hyvin lähdeveden pakkaamiseen ja myymiseen tarvittavaan liiketoimintaan. Jatkotoimenpiteinä selvitettävää on veden pakkauksen toteuttaminen ja markkinatutkimus.
