Virus hepatotropos como factores predisponentes al Síndrome de Guillain-Barre: Una Revisión Sistemática

Abstract
La presente indagación tuvo por propósito identificar los virus hepatotropos como factores predisponentes al síndrome de Guillain- Barré. Métodos: Se llevó a cabo una Revisión Sistemática y metaanálisis, se realizó la búsqueda en tres bases de datos: PubMed, Scopus y Science Direct, desde el 2018 hasta junio de 2023. Se incluyó estudios de cohorte, casos y controles o ambos, que estudiaron los virus hepatotropos como factores predisponentes al Síndrome de Guillain Barre. El sesgo de cada estudio fue evaluado por la Escala de Newcastle-Ottawa. Resultado: Se encontró reportes de solo dos virus de la Hepatitis. El Virus de la Hepatitis A, evidencio tener 4.85 veces más probabilidad de desarrollar Síndrome de Guillain Barre, habiendo asociación significativa (OR = 4,85; IC 95% = 1,23 – 19,02; p = 0,02), sin embargo, el Virus de la Hepatitis E, no demostró ser un factor predisponente para el desarrollo de síndrome de Guillain Barre, si bien, tiene 3,03 veces más probabilidades de haber padecido Síndrome de Guillain Barre, esta asociación no es significativa (OR = 3,03; IC 95 % = 0,44 – 20,86; p = 0,26). No se encontró información para virus de la Hepatitis B,C,D. Conclusiones: El virus de la Hepatitis E, no es factor predisponente para el síndrome de Guillain Barre.
