Abstract
Con el desarrollo de este trabajo se muestra como en la actualidad siguen incidiendo estereotipos de género en el deporte femenino, aunque la lucha por la igualdad sigue estando vigente en nuestros días. \nLos pasos previos a mi trabajo han sido explorar documentación sobre los estereotipos de género en la práctica deportiva femenina, para después analizar los factores que puedan condicionarla llegando a producirse una mayor tasa el abandono deportivo femenino. \nUna vez realizado este análisis, se establecen los elementos que inciden en este proceso con el fin de realizar sugerencias de mejora para prevenir y reducir que en un futuro sigan condicionando la práctica deportiva femenina y se sientan presionadas a abandonarla. \nConocer los diferentes factores que intervienen en las actividades físico – deportivas femeninas ha permitido comprobar la paulatina evolución de la sociedad, especialmente en el mundo deportivo, donde la figura de la mujer se muestra más perjudicada.
