Le présent mémoire porte sur les mutations des modalités d’énonciation et sur les impacts de ces transformations sur les personnages théâtraux de deux textes dramatiques québécois. Nous étudierons de façon transversale Yukonstyle de Sarah Berthiaume ainsi que Nous voir nous (Cinq visages pour Camille Brunelle) de Guillaume Corbeil, deux pièces parues en 2013, afin d’observer les nombreux dispositifs d’énonciation à l’œuvre et les effets de l’hybridité sur l’identité du personnage théâtral. En postulant que tant le dire que le dit transforment le personnage, nous montrons que la pluralité de l’énonciation mène à la forme composite de ce dernier : nous nous intéresserons à la décomposition et à la recomposition partielle du personnage comme construction dramaturgique. Ce mémoire interroge les visions du monde qu’expriment ces deux pièces et les commentaires sociaux qu’elles véhiculent, notamment sur les tensions entre le vivre-ensemble et la valorisation de l’individu telles qu’exacerbées dans les drames, que ce soit à cause de l’isolement ou, au contraire, de la surexposition de soi.
