Abstract
[Resumen] La presente tesis doctoral tiene por objeto analizar el proceso de financiarización de la vida cotidiana de los hogares españoles. Este propósito se ubica en el nivel micro de la financiarización, un fenómeno que recoge cómo la lógica financiera, a través del discurso neoliberal de la responsabilidad individual (Dardot y Laval, 2015) y de la contracción del Estado de Bienestar, se incrusta en el tejido social. Esta tesis doctoral operacionaliza el término teórico y lo examina de manera bidimensional, abordando su dimensión manifiesta -comportamiento socioeconómico- y su dimensión latente - subjetividades financiarizadas-. Para ello, se despliega una estrategia metodológica multimétodo que combina el uso de técnicas estadísticas multivariantes y entrevistas en profundidad semi-estructuradas. Los hallazgos muestran una disociación entre las acciones financiarizadas individuales y la adopción de las subjetividades concomitantes. No obstante, se observa que la financiarización consigue prosperar y “domesticarse” (Pellandini-Simanyi et al., 2015) en las vidas íntimas. Esto sucede en la medida en que los mecanismos reguladores y disciplinarios neoliberales (Foucault, 2009), tales como la reducción del gasto social o la inseguridad económica percibida, coaptan las lógicas morales y se entretejen a ellas.
