Cette recherche a été réalisée dans une optique d’évaluation de l’intervention par le témoignage du GRIS-Montréal. Plus spécifiquement, l’objectif consiste à déterminer les effets de l’intervention chez les élèves de deuxième cycle de trois écoles de la grande région de Montréal sur leurs niveaux d’homophobie, d’hétérosexisme, d’hétéronormativité et d’homonégativité intériorisée. L’étude s’est effectuée en concordance avec les modèles d’évaluation de programme de Tyler (1950) et de Kirkpatrick (1998) grâce à un devis quasi-expérimental avec groupe témoin. Au cours de l’année scolaire 2018-2019, les attitudes des élèves ont été mesurées lors d’un pré-test, d’un post-test et d’une période de relance afin de comparer leurs variations dans le temps. Des équations d’estimation généralisées ont permis d’observer certaines différences à court et moyen terme entre les 487 élèves des groupes expérimental (n = 181) et témoin (n = 306). Notamment, on constate que suite à l’intervention du GRIS-Montréal, le groupe expérimental présente des niveaux plus faibles d’homophobie, d’hétérosexisme global, d’hétérosexisme aversif, d’hétérosexisme stéréotypé positif et d’hétéronormativité comportementale, par rapport au groupe témoin. Trois mois plus tard, les niveaux d’homophobie et d’hétérosexisme aversif demeurent significativement plus faibles dans le groupe expérimental. Ces résultats ont permis d’émettre certaines recommandations à diverses instances.
