Abstract
Cette anne, pour la trente-quatrime Assemble gnrale, les adhrents de Fort Mditerranenne se sont retrouvs sur le Domaine dpartemental de Roussires prs de Violsen-Laval dans l'Hrault.A cette occasion, Hlne Sosa du Conseil gnral de l'Hrault nous a prsent la politique d'acquisition d'espaces naturels du Conseil gnral, mise en oeuvre grce la taxe dpartementale sur les espaces naturels sensibles (TDENS).Le Domaine de Roussires d'une superficie de 600 ha est, pour l'instant, un espace essentiellement consacr l'accueil du public.Nous avons pu ainsi visiter les locaux (gte d'tape) amnags par le Conseil gnral, et parcourir une partie du rseau vert, rseau de randonne traversant l'ensemble du dpartement de l'Hrault, dont le domaine de Roussires.Nous y avons crois des vestiges archologiques (tombes prhistoriques) mises en valeur dans le cadre du rseau vert.Nous avons galement rencontr Daniel Secondy, berger, qui assure le pturage et ainsi l'entretien d'une partie du domaine, grce son troupeau de 500 brebis.Un appel d'offre pour l'laboration d'un plan de gestion forestier a t rcemment lanc, montrant l'intrt du Conseil gnral pour la mise en place d'un plan de gestion forestier durable sur sa proprit.
