Abstract
Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) is an innovative teaching method that includes simultaneous learning of content and foreign language.It plays an important role in the modern educational system as it offers the best framework for the teaching of the subject matter in a foreign languge.In order to do it effectively appropriate teaching material is needed.The aim of the thesis was to create teaching material based of the principles of content and language integrated learning for teaching Canadian and Indian cuisine on school stage 2. The suitability of the teaching material was assessed by four expert-teachers.Their feedback was considered in improving and adjusting the material.According to the experts, the teaching material meets the principles of content and language integrated learning.However, the material is thought to suit better for teaching on school stage 3.
