Abstract
Toiminnallisen opinnäytetyön tavoitteena oli luoda opas, joka käsittelee tunne- ja sosiaalisia taitoja sekä niiden yhteyttä mielenterveyden edistämiseen. Tavoitteena oli tehdä selkeä ja helppokäyttöinen opas nuorten kanssa työskentelevien ammattilaisten käyttöön. Opinnäytetyö tehtiin yhteistyössä Nuorten mielenterveysseura Yeesi ry:n ja nuorisoalan osaamiskeskus Vahvistamon kanssa. Oppaassa hyödynnettiin toiminnallisia menetelmiä, ja sen harjoitukset jaettiin kolmeen eri kategoriaan, joita olivat ryhmäytymis- ja virittäytymisharjoitukset, pariharjoitukset sekä draamaharjoitukset. Harjoituksia oli tarkoitus ohjata nuorten ryhmälle, eräällä helsinkiläisellä nuorisotalolla, ja kehittää havainnoinnin ja nuorten antamien palautteiden perusteella. Ryhmä ei kuitenkaan osallistujien puutteen vuoksi toteutunut, joten palautetta harjoituksista pyydettiin nuorisotalon työntekijöiltä sekä Yeesi ry:n työntekijöiltä ja vapaaehtoisilta. \n \nTeoriaosuudessa käydään läpi, mitä tarkoittaa mielenterveyden edistäminen ja mitä se merkitsee, kun kohderyhmänä ovat nuoret. Teoriaosuudessa kerrotaan myös tunne- ja sosiaalisista taidoista, sekä niiden yhteydestä mielen hyvinvointiin, sekä toiminnallisten menetelmien hyödystä ja sopivuudesta tämän kaltaiseen toimintaan. \n \nValmiista oppaasta saatiin palautetta Yeesi ry:n työntekijältä. Palaute oli pääasiassa positiivista ja opasta pidettiin selkeänä sekä helppokäyttöisenä. Oppaassa olevien harjoitusten myös uskottiin voivan tukea nuorten tunne- ja sosiaalisia taitoja. \n \nOpas löytyy liitteistä alkaen sivulta 35.
