Este trabalho de conclusão de curso analisa as estratégias de comunicação integradas utilizadas pela marca de luxo Lacoste para desconstruir estigmas e gerenciar crises na era digital, com foco especial na relação da marca com os jovens das periferias brasileiras. Tradicionalmente associada a um público elitizado, a Lacoste tem adotado estratégias para conquistar novos consumidores, refletindo a democratização do consumo. A pesquisa destaca a criação da página oficial Lacoste Brasil no Instagram em 2021 e a campanha “Crocodilos Jogam Juntos”, que inicialmente enfrentou repercussão negativa por não incluir influenciadores ligados ao funk e rap, gêneros musicais populares nas periferias. O estudo utilizou o estudo de caso e a análise de redes sociais como metodologias para analisar o engajamento e a repercussão das campanhas publicitárias da Lacoste no Instagram, bem como as transformações estratégicas adotadas pela marca para reverter as críticas. Além disso, investiga a identificação da marca com os gêneros musicais e as periferias, e como essa relação influencia a construção de identidade dos consumidores. A partir das análises realizadas foi possível observar como a Lacoste conseguiu aumentar o engajamento no Instagram e construir um relacionamento próximo do público brasileiro, fomentando parcerias com influencers identificados com a periferia.
