Dans ce compte-rendu, nous mettons en lumière l’atelier intitulé "Regards croisés sur l’entrepreneuriat des femmes dans les arts et la culture : apports, défis et perspectives de soutien", tenu lors des Journées Georges Doriot - Entrepreneuriat et société à Montréal le 7 juillet 2023. Cet atelier a été orchestré par la professeure Joëlle Bissonnette, professeure au Département de management de l’ESG UQAM. Son compte-rendu réunit les contributions de chercheuses, chercheurs, praticiennes et praticiens venu.e.s exposer des résultats de recherches sur les femmes entrepreneures dans les arts et la culture ainsi que des initiatives ou expérimentations en matière de soutien à ces femmes, et ce, en privilégiant la diversité des perspectives. C’est ainsi que se croisent dans cet atelier tant les perspectives disciplinaires et sectorielles (musique, art lyrique, danse, arts numériques et art interactif, notamment) que les perspectives nationales, en s’intéressant à ce qui se fait au Québec et au Canada, mais aussi au Maroc, au Cameroun et en France. S’ajoute même une perspective historique sur l’entrepreneuriat des femmes dans les arts et la culture, le tout dans l’objectif de mieux comprendre les caractéristiques et les défis particuliers de l’entrepreneuriat de ces femmes, pour mieux les soutenir et les accompagner.
