Prezentul studiu are ca subiect de abordare sistemul de comunicare ştiinţifică în Republica Moldova. Este prezentată metodologia şi rezultatele unui studiu explorator, realizat în 23 de universităţi, instituţii ştiinţifice şi academice. Studiul însumează rezultatele cercetării sociologice efectuate în perioada decembrie 2010 - iulie 2012, cu privire la: atitudini şi opinii ale cadrelor universitare şi ale cercetătorilor privind sistemul de comunicare ştiinţifică în Republica Moldova, frecvenţa comunicării între diferiţi parteneri sociali în domeniul ştiinţei, utilizarea diferitelor mijloace de comunicare ştiinţifică, avantajele şi dezavantajele revistelor ştiinţifice, rolul revistelor şi al arhivelor cu acces deschis în calitate de mijloace noi de comunicare ştiinţifice etc. Cuvinte-cheie: comunicare ştiinţifică, acces deschis, mijloace de comunicare ştiinţifică, reviste cu acces deschis, arhive instituţionale cu acces deschis.
