En este Trabajo Fin de Grado se analiza mediante estática gráfica la galería del Brookfield Place de Toronto diseñada en 1987 por Santiago Calatrava, un ingeniero y arquitecto español. Para poder analizar esta estructura, todo el análisis se hará de acuerdo al Código Técnico de la edificación (CTE) y al National Building Code of Canada (NBC). La estática gráfica surgió en el año 1885, esta presenta varias ventajas y desventajas con respecto a la estática análitica, que es la más presente hoy en día. Algunas de estas ventajas son la rapidez o la sencillez del método, pero, sin embargo, la precisión de este método es menor que la del método analítico. Inicialmente, las secciones de las barras no son conocidas, por lo tanto, mediante la estática gráfica,midiendo la longitud de las figuras obtenidas mediante el método, se va a conseguir obtener el valor del esfuerzo axil en cada barra. Gracias a este valor y conociendo la máxima tensión admisible del material, se puede calcular la sección de cada barra. Una vez calculada la sección de todas las barras de la estructura gracias al método de estática gráfica, se va a utilizar un software de análisis estructural mediante elementos finitos llamado RFEM, de Dlubal. Mediante este programa se va a realizar un modelado en 3D de la estructura para finalmente obtener el esfuerzo axil soportado por cada barra y poder extraer conclusiones.<br />
