En el presente documento se trabaja en un primer momento la investigación sobre los factores ambientales, de contexto, del ser humano y de los objetos que abarcan al mobiliario de las salas de espera del muelle internacional del aeropuerto El Dorado haciendo un fuerte énfasis en la investigación a viajero de negocios por medio de la presentación de un trabajo de campo que consta de un análisis de la actividad del viajero de negocios dentro del Aeropuerto El Dorado y la presentación de conclusiones encontradas en las entrevistas realizadas a viajero de negocios. En un segundo momento, se presenta el proceso creativo y comprobaciones ergonómicas que establecen los determinantes y requerimientos en cuanto a las actividades y factores ergonómicos de los viajeros de negocios durante la espera en las salas de espera para la creación de la tercera y última etapa con la creación del diseño ERCON: Mobiliario tipo tándem para las salas de espera del Aeropuerto El Dorado, que enfoca su diseño en la ergonomía, confort y solución de las necesidades especificas para un usuario de negocios de clase económica y abarcando también otras necesidades de los otros tipos de viajeros existentes y que concurren el aeropuerto.
