Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

School-based programming is one of the most common approaches to\nHIV/AIDS prevention among youth. This paper presents the history and\ndevelopment of the Family Life and HIV Education (FLHE) programme in\nEdo State, Nigeria and results of evaluation of teacher actions and\nresponses to training in its delivery. Results indicate that teachers\nbenefited from the training, were aware of new and/or existing teaching\nresources and began to teach about HIV/AIDS. Teachers expressed that\nthe programme facilitated open dialogue about HIV/AIDS. However, given\nlimited human resources, FLHE was viewed as additional work to already\noverloaded teaching schedules. It is recommended that the Ministry of\nEducation channel resources to enhance teachers' efforts towards\ncombating HIV/AIDS. To facilitate learning about sexual health and\nfamily life, it is recommended that FLHE-based training be viewed as\nthe first rather than the only step towards teacher professional\ndevelopment in this area (Afr J Reprod Health 2012 (Special Edition);\n16[2]: 87-102).

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
