Abstract
Tämä opinnäytetyö on kirjallisuuskatsaus luokanopettajan ja toimintaterapian yhteistyöhön toimintaterapian tutkimuksissa. Kirjallisuuskatsauksen tekemisen tarve nousi Vajaaliikkeisten kunto Ry:n (VLK) projektista. Projektin yhtenä tavoitteena oli selvittää lapsille kohdentuvien neurologisiin haasteisiin vastaavien opetus- ja terveystoimien tukipalveluiden nykytilaa. \n \nKirjallisuuskatsaus tarjoaa vastauksia siihen, miten toimintaterapian kirjallisuudessa ja tut-kimuksessa kuvaillaan luokanopettajan ja toimintaterapeutin välisen yhteistyön edistäviä ja estäviä tekijöitä. Katsauksesta selviää myös, minkälaisena toimintaterapeutin ja luokanopettajan yhteistyö tällä hetkellä näyttäytyy toimintaterapian tutkimuksissa. \n \nOpinnäytetyön viitekehys on The Client, Service, Society malli (Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists 1997). Opinnäytetyön teoriapohja rakentuu viitekehyksen lisäksi neljän tutkimusartikkelin analyysistä. Näiden avulla rakentui tietopaketti yhteistyötä edistävistä ja estävistä tekijöistä, sekä tietoa tämänhetkisestä yhteistyön laadusta. \n \nToimintaterapeuttien ja luokanopettajien yhteistyön kehittämiseen on hyvät mahdollisuudet. Tämä on huomattu etenkin ulkomailla, jossa yhteistyön kehittämiseksi on suunniteltu erilaisia malleja ja projekteja. Suomeen nämä eivät ole vielä rantautuneet. Tässä opinnäytetyössä analysoidaan muun muassa kyseisistä malleista ja projekteista kertovia opinnäytetöitä, joista myös suomalaiset toimintaterapeutit ja luokanopettajat voisivat saada ideoita yhteistyön kehittämiseen näyttöön perustuvan tiedon avulla.
