Abstract
-- \nABSTRACT : The sudden transition of organizations to telecommuting caused by the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 has turned the daily lives of many employees and managers upside down, as they have had to quickly adapt the ways they do their work. This new organization of work, at a distance, challenges already established knowledge in terms of people management. The main objective of this study is to examine the links between telework, job satisfaction and organizational commitment among employees of the Quebec public service. To do so, a questionnaire survey was conducted in the winter of 2022 with a sample of 2986 professionals in the Quebec public service. The data was collected while the mandatory telework requirement was in effect for those whose work can be done at home. The results suggest that telework does not negatively affect employees' job satisfaction and organizational commitment. They also show that female employees appear to be more engaged and satisfied at work than their male or non-binary counterparts in a telecommuting setting. This research contributes to scientific knowledge by examining a brand new reality, that of pandemic imposed telework, and by targeting a population of employees who have experienced telework for the first time. The results will enable organizations and managers to adapt management practices and move beyond the traditional modes of work organization that have long dominated the public service. -- Mot(s) clé(s) en anglais : Keywords: telework, job satisfaction, organizational commitment, public sector, management, COVID-19.

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
