Abstract
The defending Stanley Cup champions are fighting just to make the playoffs --but at least their losing streak is over. The L-A Kings snapped a four-game skid by beating the New Jersey Devils 3 to 1. Kings center Mike Richards says what's going to put them over the top is experience.... CUT The Kings have 10 games to find a way into the playoffs. One option is catching the Calgary Flames in their own division. The Flames are two points ahead after beating the Colorado Avalanche 3-2. The Kings could also make it in the wild card race, but they'd have to bridge a 4-point gap between them and the Winnipeg Jets for the final wild card spot. The Jets easily beat the Edmonton Oilers 4 to 1 Monday. The Eastern Conference playoff race is even tighter, with the Ottawa Senators moving back into the final wild card spot with a 5-2 win over the San Jose Sharks. But Senators captain Erik Karlsson isn't popping the champagne yet... CUT The Senators are just a point ahead of the Boston Bruins, who didn't play Monday. No teams have clinched a playoff spot or a division just yet, so plenty of shuffling may be on the way. The Chicago Blackhawks are within 3 points of the top of the Central Division after beating the Carolina Hurricanes 3-1. The win was also the 750th career victory for Hawks coach Joel Quenneville.

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; both teacher heads agree on what is shown here.
