Abstract
Tämän opinnäytetyön tarkoituksena on perehtyä Suomen Pankin strategiatyöhön: tutkimuskohteena on Suomen Pankin osastosihteerien rooli organisaation strategiaprosessissa. Opinnäytetyössä selvitetään millainen rooli osastosihteereillä on pankin strategisessa suunnittelussa, viestinnässä, toimeenpanossa ja toimeenpanon seurannassa sekä millä tavoin eri osastojen sihteerien roolit eroavat toisistaan.\n\nTyössä selitetään mistä strategiatyö koostuu teoriassa sekä miten strategiaa toteutetaan Suomen Pankissa tärkeimmät painopistealueet huomioon ottaen, ja perehdytään sihteerien rooleihin organisaation strategiaprosessissa niin yleisellä tasolla kuin Suomen Pankissa. Opinnäytetyö toteutettiin kesäkuun 2014 ja toukokuun 2015 välisenä aikana.\n\nOpinnäytetyön tutkimus toteutettiin kvalitatiivisena eli laadullisena tutkimuksena huhtikuussa 2015. Tutkimusaineisto kerättiin anonyymisti kyselylomakkeella kaikille Suomen Pankin osastosihteereille. Tämän opinnäytetyön avulla saatiin selville osastosihteerien roolien välisiä eroja ja erojen syitä. Tulosten analysoinnin perusteella Suomen Pankille esitettiin kehitysehdotuksia.
