Cette recherche a comme objet d'étude le développement professionnel des professeurs. Elle met en évidence les relations entre la formation, la pratique et la dialectique des savoirs des professeurs-chercheurs. Elle a été exécutée au cours des deux dernières années (2000-2002) de formation du cours de pédagogie. Elle vise, d'abord, à expliciter les sens attribués par les étudiants aux différents types de savoirs des enseignants et de leurs origines. Par la suite, elle montre les négociations qui se sont établies pendant la formation avec les établissements où les futurs enseignants travaillent. En conclusion, on discute et présente les données de la recherche et leur portée face au développement professionnel. L'approche théorique prend en compte les études déjà réalisées pendant les trois dernières décennies, dans des pays comme la France, les États-Unis, l'Angleterre, le Portugal, l'Espagne et tout particulièrement le Brésil. \n \nLe lieu choisi pour la réalisation de cette étude était le Département d'éducation de l'Université de l'état de Bahia à Serrinha, quatre-vingt-douze étudiants ont été divisés en trois groupes. La recherche s'est effectuée à l'intérieur du paradigme interprétatif/qualitatif et selon la méthode ethnographique. Les résultats de cette étude indiquent la nécessité de jeter un regard sur la politique de formation des professeurs au Brésil, les cours de pédagogie et les licences, en portant une attention particulière sur le développement professionnel des professeurs et sur les relations établies par les personnes avec les savoirs construits pendant la formation et l'exercice de la profession. \n
