DE 19926084 A UPAB: 20010207 NOVELTY - The section tube enclosing the entire surface to be cleaned has gas ports along its inside circumference and is of a section such that the exhausted air is vorticized within the tube all over its section. The tube comes in prefered kidney section with inward indents as gas ports, the indents in turn angled inwards to form a center bend (66) and a fan (61) connects via openings (64) with the tube to the side of the center bend (66). The fan can be controled in rev count. The surface of the object (1) e.g. workpiece is blown with CO2 snow within a cleaning chamber. When using a sample table (1) this is elecrically heated and has a flat metal plate to take the object etc. The snow is blown in via first and second nozzles which bundle the snow in parallel, using a feed capillary for the first nozzle ringed by the second preferably Laval nozzle. USE - Suction cleaning, for use in optical, engineering or medical sectors. ADVANTAGE - CO2 snow is blown onto surface by a pair of nozzles and a ring tube with gas ports preventing re-condensation and with contained vorticizing effect to prevent pollution of ambient air.
