Abstract
Stepan Rak adalah salah satu komponis musik gitar klasik di era modern \nyang fenomenal. Dia terkenal dengan pengembangan teknik-teknik \npermainan yang unik dan baru. Sayangnya di Indonesia Stepan Rak tidak \nterkenal, karena tidak banyak pemain yang mengangkat karya-karyanya ke \ndalam pementasan. Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk membahas sebuah \nkarya Stepan Rak yang berjudul The Czech Fairy Tales. Bahasan pada \npenelitian ini adalah analisis struktural dan analisis extended technique yang \ndiaplikasikan Stepan Rak ke dalam karyanya yang berjudul The Czech Fairy \nTales ini. Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana \npengembangan yang dilakukan Stepan Rak dalam kekaryaaannya baik dari \nsegi struktur maupun teknik dalam karyanya yang berjudul The Czech Fairy \nTales. Serta dengan penjelasan tentang perbandingan antara extended \ntechnique Stepan Rak dengan extended technique dari komponis lainnya.
