De ce panorama des rceptions internationales, il ressort un rayonnement international partiel, tronqu, d'Aragon : tronqu du fait de sa rception politique dans certains pays -tats-Unis, Qubec, Espagne -, voire de sa non rception ; tronqu du fait d'un accueil partiel et/ou partisan -en Amrique latine/Argentine, Italie, Grce ou gypte ; tronqu enfin, en raison des angles morts que ce sommaire prsente.Quelles que soient ces troncatures, elles sont significatives et dessinent un premier ensemble de conclusions. La rception internationale d'Aragon, premier bilanLa rception d'Aragon varie de fait selon les territoires concerns et les centres d'intrts qui leur sont propres.Elle apparat toujours situe et influence politiquement, aussi bien dans le cas des espaces qui sont ferms l'crivain que dans le cas de ceux qui lui sont (plus) favorables : l'influence des canaux et des rseaux communistes structure cette rception, y compris dans des pays o les partis communistes ne sont gure influents.Dans le cas du Qubec, la mauvaise rputation politique d'Aragon lui ferma l'accs la Belle Province jusqu' ces vingt dernires annes, en dpit de la brve ouverture dont il bnficia l'occasion de la Deuxime Guerre mondiale, comme pote de la France rsistante.Aragon fut en effet apprhend dans la partie francophone du Canada par le biais de strotypes : communiste , stalinien ou sectaire , il en vint incarner la crise des annes 1946-1947 entre crivains de la Rsistance et intellectuels canadiens, ce qui a marqu durablement son image au Qubec.Politique avant tout, cette fermeture est fonde sur une mconnaissance des oeuvres.Aux tats-Unis, l'engagement communiste d'Aragon et la figure de l'crivain engag ont hypothqu durablement l'image de l'auteur, le condamnant tre ignor, en dehors des cercles universitaires qui continuent s'intresser lui, en
