Abstract
En este presente trabajo de investigación se desarrolló en el Distrito de San Benito, Provicnia de Contumaza, Cajamarca, en el tramo de la carretera Pueblo Nuevo, San Benito, mediante una investigación de tipo aplicada y de acuerdo a la técnica de contrastación, descriptiva. Siendo el objetivo principal; determinar os factores de diseño para la infraestructura del pavimento flexible, y asi mejorar la transitabilidad del distrito de San Benito. Se realizo un estudio de trafico, para determinar el número de ejes equivalentes tomando en cuenta los vólumenes y proyecciones del tránsito, que así mismo se permitió el uso de procedimientos y metodologias para desarrollar el diseño para el pavimento flexible, seguidamente realizamos el estudio de mecánica de suelos. con fines de pavimentación, mediante la norma vigente: Manuel de Ensayo de Materiales del Ministerio de Trasporte y Comunicaciones, para realizar nuestro objetivo principal, determinamos los espesores de las capas de pavimento, mediante la metodologia AASHTO 93 cuyo diseño estuvo conformada por una carretera de tercera clase, ubicada sobre un terreno accidentado y constituido por una longitud de 23.90 Km. Asi mismo se elaboró el diseño de señalización vial, utilizando la normativa vigente: Manual de Dispositivos de Control de Transito Automotor para calles y carreteras 2016, del Ministerio de Trasnportes y Comunicaciones. Esta presente tesis con los resultados obtenidos, mejorara la transitabilidad en el tramo de la carretera Pueblo Nuevo - San Benito, asi mismo mejorando las condiciones de vida del Distrito de San Benito.
