Cet essai a pour objectif de faire le point sur une démarche de recherche en partenariat avec l’École nationale de police du Québec (ENPQ), effectuée dans le cadre de la maîtrise professionnelle en Pratiques de recherche et action publique (PRAP) à l’Institut national de la
\nrecherche scientifique (INRS). Cette recherche portait plus spécifiquement sur la question des représentations qu’ont les jeunes aspirants policiers en matière de conduite d’urgence en contexte policier. L’essai rend d’abord compte des résultats de la recherche effectuée en ce qui a trait aux représentations du risque, aux représentations de l’auto-patrouille, ainsi qu’à la perception des aspirants policiers à l’égard de la qualité de la formation en conduite policière qu’ils reçoivent à l’ENPQ. Cet essai est aussi l’occasion de faire un bilan sur la démarche de recherche en mobilisation des connaissances, ainsi que des apprentissages acquis dans le cadre du programme de
\nmaîtrise PRAP. En outre, je proposerai de plus une réflexion critique sur la mobilisation des connaissances et sur le rôle d’agent d’interface.
