ResumLa frontera politicoadministrativa ha jugat un paper molt important en els conflictes poltics, militars i culturals entre revoluci i contrarevoluci al llarg del segle xix.I un dels aspectes ms destacats ha estat que aquest paper no ha estat sempre el mateix, sin que ha variat amb els temps.La llarga disputa entre revoluci i contrarevoluci a l'Europa del primer ter del segle xix, tindr un ress especial a les terres catalanes dividides per una frontera que en aquells moments s'estava consolidant a nivell poltic i militar, i fins i tot cultural.En aquest text analitzem el paper que va jugar la frontera francoespanyola en el territori catal durant el conflicte entre revoluci i contrarevoluci, centrant-nos en l'anomenat Trienni Liberal (1820-1823).Fins i tot en un perode tan curt, la frontera juga papers diferents.Entre 1814 i 1820 els liberals exiliats a Frana conspiraran contra el rgim absolutista fernand, per alhora seran un factor d'inestabilitat a la Frana de la Restauraci.Amb la nova proclamaci de la Constituci el 1820, seran els absolutistes els que cercaran refugi, protecci i recursos a l'altra banda de la frontera, i des d'on prepararan la contrarevoluci, no sense crear tamb problemes a la monarquia francesa.Finalment, a partir de 1823, tornar l'exili liberal a refugiar-se a Frana i no sols conspirar contra l'absolutisme espanyol, sin que participar activament en les conspiracions liberals a Frana.
