Abstract
La oportunidad de estudiar la factibilidad del desarrollo de un centro de eventos \nsostenible en el pueblo tradicional: El Huayco – Arequipa, Perú, fue poder brindar una nueva \nalternativa de beneficios: sociales, ecológicos y económicos al ambiente que lo rodearía, por \nmedio de su arrendamiento diario. \n El primer objetivo fue desarrollar un análisis estratégico del entorno al que se enfrentaría \nun nuevo centro de eventos de alto nivel en Arequipa; se aplicó el proceso estratégico y las \nfuerzas de Porter; el entorno resultó ser manejable y aprovechable por la empresa. El \nsegundo objetivo fue realizar un estudio de mercado que revele el nivel de aceptación social \nque tendría el proyecto; resultó ser: muy alto. El tercer objetivo fue analizar la viabilidad \ntécnica del proyecto; se aplicaron los métodos: QFD, ranking de factores, Guerchet, SLP y \nEIA; se concluyó que el proyecto es técnicamente viable. El cuarto objetivo fue identificar \nlas normas legales para la organización y definir su sistema administrativo; la empresa, \ndeberá constituirse ante el estado, obtener una licencia de funcionamiento y contratar \npersonal, para cumplir con las normas legales de formalización; además, su sistema \nadministrativo consistirá en once puestos. El quinto objetivo fue determinar la viabilidad \neconómica-financiera del proyecto; se calcularon el VAN (16,883.92 soles) y la TIR (13%); \nel proyecto es económica y financieramente viable. El sexto objetivo fue efectuar un análisis \nde sensibilidad, riesgos y escenarios del proyecto; la variable más sensible y riesgosa es: el \nnivel de ventas. \nFinalmente, se concluyó que el proyecto es factible.
